Police arrest teen after stolen car crash at Walkerville

One person has been arrested and police are searching for another person after a stolen car crashed at Walkerville this morning.

Police will allege that about 4.15am today (Sunday 19 January), police and emergency services were called to an area on Dyson Road, after reports that a stolen Ford Ranger ute had crashed into a fence.

Two people were seen running from the ute, and extra patrols including a police dog were called in to assist in the search.

Police Dog Jax was able to help locate one of the suspects, a 17-year-old boy from Norwood will face charges of being unlawfully on premises, breach of bail and illegal use of a motor vehicle.
