Police arrest teens after series of hold-ups

Police are investigating after a series of service stations robberies and attempt robberies this morning.

About 3am Saturday 27 May Police were called to a service station on Glen Osmond Road at Glenunga after reports three suspicious teenagers had attended the store with their faces covered.

Quick thinking staff locked the doors so the males couldn't gain access and a short time later they left the scene empty handed.

About 3.50am police were called to a service station on Greenhill Road at Glenside after reports three armed teens had entered the store and threatened staff before stealing a small amount of cash and cigarettes. Thankfully staff weren't physically injured.

The males were last seen getting into a blue Lexus and driving away.

About 4.40am police were called to a service station on South Road at Angle Park after three armed teenagers attended the store and threatened staff. Staff refused to hand over any cash and the teens left empty handed. Staff were not physically injured.

Then just before 5.30am police were called to a service station on Regency Road at Croydon Park after reports of another attempted robbery where three armed teens attended the store, threatened staff. But left empty handed.

About 6am following an investigation police attended a home in Ferryden Park after reports that four suspicious teenagers had attended. Western patrols, PD Chaos and PD Duke converged on the area and got to work searching for the suspects.

Western patrols quickly located and arrested three teens nearby, with PD Duke tracking down a fourth suspect hiding in a rear yard.

The suspect vehicle was also located near the home and police are investigating if it had been stolen.

Crime Scene officers and Detectives will be attending all the scenes this morning to assist with the investigation.

Details and charges of the four suspects will be added when more information is known.
