Police have arrested three teens following an aggravated burglary in Ashwood overnight.
Officers were called to reports three people had broken into a residence on Ashwood Drive about 1.55am.
The trio allegedly stole an Audi A1 from the property which was spotted by police shortly after.
The Air Wing followed the vehicle as it was driven along the Monash Freeway, allegedly reaching up to 190km/h, before taking the Heatherton Road exit where stop sticks were successfully deployed.
The vehicle continued along the Princess Highway before it was dumped and the occupants fled on foot.
A 16-year-old boy and two 17-year-old boys, all from the Cardinia area, were arrested on Strawbent Rise.
The 16-year-old was transported to hospital after being bitten by a police dog.
All three are expected to be interviewed by detectives later today.
