Police arrest two after break-in, South Australia

Two men will face court today after allegedly breaking into a home armed with a firearm.

About 6.50am on Wednesday 16 March police were called to a Parafield Gardens home after two men armed with a gel blaster forced their way in and assaulted the occupant. The victim sustained minor injuries but did not require medical treatment.

Following an investigation by Northern District detectives, two men were arrested and a gel blaster located.

The two men aged 25 and 26 from Davoren Park and Salisbury North, were charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, unlawful threats and possessing a firearm without a licence. They have both been refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.

This is not a random incident, all parties are known to each other.
