A man has been charged after a two-vehicle crash in the state's south last year.
Just after 10pm on Saturday 13 December 2025, emergency services were called to Olympic Highway, Marinna, approximately 10km northeast of Junee, following reports two cars had collided.
The driver of a Mercedes hatchback– a 36-year-old woman – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of a Toyota Corolla – a 24-year-old man – was taken to the same hospital in a stable condition.
Following further inquiries, on Saturday (4 April 2026), the 24-year-old man was charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm – drive under the influence, negligent driving (occasions grievous bodily harm), drive with middle range PCA (two counts), drive vehicle under influence of alcohol, and not keep left of dividing line – not class B/C vehicle.
He was issued court attendance notice to appear at Junee Local Court on Wednesday 13 May 2026.
