Police charge man after Bangholme death

Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of a man in Bangholme last year.

A 52-year-old Winston Hills man was arrested in Winston Hills yesterday with the assistance of NSW Police.

He faced Paramatta Local Court this morning and extradition to Victoria was granted.

The man has been charged with manslaughter and is expected to face Melbourne Magistrates' Court tonight.

The arrest follows an incident in Bangholme on 7 September, 2022 where a man was struck by a bobcat at a business on Bangholme Road.

The 34-year-old Devon Meadows man was conveyed to hospital however he subsequently passed away.

The parties involved in the incident were known to each other.
