A driver has been charged with drink driving after a crash in Sydney's south west overnight.
Just after midnight today (Sunday 27 April 2025), emergency services were called to Ethel Street, Burwood, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.
On arrival, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were told a beige sedan had collided with another car at low speed on Ethel Street.
There were no reports of injuries.
The driver of the beige sedan was subjected to a roadside breath test which allegedly returned a positive result.
He was arrested and taken to Burwood Police Station, where a secondary breath analysis produced a result of 0.131.
He was charged with mid-range PCA and issued a court attendance notice to appear at Burwood Local Court on Tuesday 3 June 2025.
His licence was also suspended.
