Project Planet Returns To Cahill Park, Wolli Creek

Project Planet, Bayside Council's annual sustainability event returns to Cahill Park, Wolli Creek on Saturday 17 October.

Designed with care for the environment at its core, Project Planet features everything from waste management and eco-conscious signage to compostable materials, and carbon offsetting.

Project Planet offers something for every age group with themed stalls, hands on workshops, and panel discussions that inspire practical action toward a greener lifestyle.

Costa The Garden Gnome and dirtgirl, from ABC TV, will also be making a special appearance.

Visitors will leave with new knowledge, tools, and motivation to reduce their environmental footprint and contribute to Bayside's 2032 sustainability goals.

From compostable materials to reusable crockery and carbon offsetting, every detail of the event reflects Council's commitment to environmental leadership.

Attendees will be able to engage with Action Hub, Knowledge Hub, all-day drop in activations, and hands on workshops that inspire practical action toward a greener lifestyle.

External stakeholders include The Market Edit for food and wares stalls, Banish x Lottie Dalziel, Paul West, and River Cottage Australia.
