Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 52-year-old Northcote man following the death of a woman in Northcote Wednesday night.
Emergency services were called to a residence on Brickworks Lane after the body of a 51-year-old woman was located by a family member shortly before 8pm on 30 November.
The 52-year-old man has been charged with murder and will face Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Friday 2 December.
