A man will face court today after more than 40 grams of prohibited drugs were allegedly found during a vehicle search in the state's Orana region.
About 9.15pm yesterday (Thursday 19 September 2019), officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District stopped a vehicle travelling on Maughan Street at Wellington without headlights on.
Officers spoke with the occupants and obtained reason to search the vehicle and its occupants.
Police allegedly located quantities of ecstasy and cannabis inside the car, as well as various drug paraphernalia.
An 18-year-old man was arrested and taken to Wellington Police Station where he was charged with drug supply (x2) and drug possession (x2).
The man was bail refused to appear before Dubbo Local Court today (Friday 20 September 2019).
