Police charge man after Hamilton aggravated burglary

Hamilton Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 26-year-old Hamilton man following an aggravated burglary in Hamilton on Tuesday.

Detectives have been told a woman was home alone when she was allegedly confronted by an unknown man with a knife at a Kent Road address about 1.10pm on 30 November.

A man was arrested this morning, and has been charged with aggravated burglary, sexual assault, armed robbery, and other offences.

He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 3 December 2021.
