A man has been charged with drug offences after police executed a search warrant at a house in Tamworth yesterday.
Just before 6pm (Tuesday 18 May 2021), officers from the Oxley Police District executed a search warrant at a house in Warral Road following an investigation into drug supply in the area.
Police allegedly located and seized cannabis, cash, scales and other drug related items, which will be forensically examined.
A 50-year-old man was arrested at the house and taken to Tamworth Police Station.
He was charged with possess prohibited drug (x2), supply prohibited drug, and deal with proceeds of crime
He was refused bail and will appear at Tamworth Local Court today (Wednesday 19 May 2021).
