Police arrested a man yesterday as part of their investigation into an alleged sexual assault in Mildura on Sunday morning.
Investigators have been told the 23-year-old woman was sexually assaulted near San Mateo Avenue and Seventh Street about 3am on 2 June.
A 21-year-old Mildura man has been charged with one count of rape, stalking, intentionally cause serious injury and common law assault.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at Mildura Magistrates' Court today.
