A man has been charged by Box Hill Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives in relation to a sexual assault in Mitcham Friday 6 January.
It's alleged a man approached a woman and sexually assaulted her while she was pushing a pram in a park on Mitcham Road just after 4.30pm.
A 22-year-old man self-presented to a police station this afternoon.
The Doncaster East man has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.
He has been bailed to appear in Ringwood Magistrates' Court on 11 August.
