Police Charge Man After Wodonga Aggravated Burglary

Wodonga Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following an aggravated burglary in Wodonga yesterday.

Police were called to a home on Huon Creek Road where it's alleged three unknown people arrived in a suspected stolen white Toyota Landcruiser about 7am.

The offenders gained entry to the property and stole a blue Holden Ute, registration 1FM1NF.

The residents became aware as the cars were driving away.

Detectives attended a Brolga Court property about 1pm yesterday and arrested a 27-year-old man.

The Wodonga man has been charged with aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle, handle stolen goods, attempted theft from motor vehicle, assault police and resist arrest.

He has been remanded to appear at Wodonga Magistrates' Court today.

Police are continuing to search for the other two outstanding offenders.
