Police have charged a man and woman after allegedly uncovering a significant amount of stolen property at a Pimpama address yesterday.
Police investigating a number of recent thefts utilising flatbed trucks in the northern Gold Coast executed a search warrant at a property on Dewrang Drive, Pimpama, around 11:30am yesterday (Tuesday March 29).
Officers allegedly located a significant amount of stolen property including approximately $30,000 worth of copper, a flat-bed truck, Holden Colorado, Mitsubishi Triton, Honda motorbike, tools, gardening equipment, bicycles, mowers, and new home-fittings.
A 42-year-old Pimpama man and a 43-year-old Pimpama woman have both been charged with five counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, four counts of receiving tainted property and one count each of enter premises and things that purport to be, but are not, registration certificates.
Both are scheduled to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
Investigations continue.
