Police charge man over sexual touching at Crows Nest

A man will appear in court today, charged after allegedly sexually touching a teenage boy on Sydney's North Shore yesterday.

About 1.40pm yesterday (Monday 1 March 2021), a 17-year-old boy was walking to a bus stop on Falcon Street, Crows Nest, when he was approached by a man who began making sexually suggestive comments and attempted to kiss and hug the boy.

Police were told the man then sexually touched the boy.

The incident was reported to officers from North Shore Police Area Command who attended and commenced an investigation.

A short time later, police arrested a 42-year-old man, who was taken to North Sydney Police Station and charged with sexually touch person without consent.

The man was refused bail to appear at Manly Local Court today (Tuesday 2 March 2021).
