A 44-year-old man from Richmond has been charged with drink driving after crashing into a power pole on Brinktop Road, Penna today.
The man returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.208, four times the legal limit.
He will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on 9 October.
Tasmania Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in reporting the driving behaviour witnessed prior to the crash.
