A man has been charged with alleged drug supply following a vehicle stop in Sydney's south west.
About 4.45pm yesterday (Wednesday 24 December 2025), Campbelltown Highway Patrol officers were conducting high-visibility patrols when they stopped a car on Williamson Road, Ingleburn.
The driver – a 45-year-old man – was subject to a roadside breath test, which returned a negative result.
He was further subject to a roadside drug test, which returned an alleged positive reading to methylamphetamine.
A subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted where police located and seized amounts of psilocybin mushrooms, cannbis, methylamphetamine and heroin.
The driver was arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with;
- Drive motor vehicle during disqualification period
- Two counts of supply prohibited drug greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity
- Supply prohibited drug greater than small and less than indictable quantity
- Possess prohibited drug and,
- Recklessly deal with proceeds of crime less than $5000
He was granted bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court on Tuesday 20 January 2025.
