Police charge man with high-range PCA - Vaucluse

A man has been charged with high-range drink driving after crashing into a parked car in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

Emergency services were called to Old South Head Road, Vaucluse about 11.55pm (Friday 6 September 2019), after reports of a crash.

Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command located a Holden with serious damage to its front, after it's believed it crashed into a parked into a Toyota parked – unoccupied – in the street.

The Holden's driver, a 28-year-old man, was breath tested at the scene which returned a positive reading.

He was arrested and taken to Waverley Police Station where he was subject to a breath analysis which returned a reading of 0.168.

The Vaucluse man was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice for the offence of high-range PCA to appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Friday 27 September 2019.
