Police charge man with outstanding warrant at Dubbo

A man wanted on an outstanding warrant at Dubbo has been charged.

Officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District have been conducting inquiries to locate a 30-year-old man wanted on an outstanding warrant for domestic violence-related offences.

Following inquiries, police attended a showground on Fitzroy Street, Dubbo, about 6.15pm on yesterday (Tuesday 5 December 2023), and arrested a 30-year-old man.

He was taken to Dubbo Police Station where the outstanding warrant was executed for two counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (domestic violence), assault occasioning actual bodily harm (domestic violence), and common assault (domestic violence).

The man was also charged with self administer/attempt self administer prohibited drug, common assault (domestic violence), armed with intent commit indictable offence, two counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (domestic violence), in relation to alleged altercations with a woman known to him at a home in Dubbo last week.

The man was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court today (Wednesday 6 December 2023).
