Police have charged four people following an alleged series of armed robberies in Melbourne's west this week.
It is alleged the group were involved in four robberies at bottle shops and service stations in Tottenham, Derrimut and Tarneit on Tuesday 22 July.
It's alleged during each of the incidents, the group presented at least one edged weapon and made demands for cash, cigarettes and stole alcohol, before fleeing in an alleged stolen Audi sedan.
Nobody was physically injured during the incidents.
Police spotted the vehicle on Leakes Road and with assistance from the Air Wing, it was followed along the Princes Freeway and through various back street of Spotswood, Yarraville and Seddon, before coming to a stop on Chatham Street in Footscray.
A 20-year-old Glenroy man, a 19-year-old Wallan man, an 18-year-old Werribee man and 17-year-old boy from the Merri-bek area were arrested.
All four have been charged with armed robbery, attempted armed robbery and driving offences.
The Glenroy man and Wallan man were both remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
The Werribee man was remanded to appeared before Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 16 October.
The Merri-bek boy was remanded to appear before a children's court at a later date.
