Police charge two after drugs, cash and stolen motorbikes seized in Melbourne's South

Officers from the Caulfield Divisional Response Unit have charged two people after seizing drugs and allegedly stolen property during warrants in Bayside this morning.

A 40-year-old man has been charged with:

• traffick methylamphetamine

• traffick 1.4 butanedoil

• possess methylamphetamine

• possess ecstasy

• possess cannabis

• possess 1.4 butanedoil

• deal proceeds of crime

• theft of motorcycle x 3

• commit indictable offence whilst on bail

• Handle stolen goods

• Possess prohibited weapon x 2

• Prohibited person possess imitation firearm.

A 23-year-old woman has been charged with:

• traffick methylamphetamine

• traffick 1.4 butanedoil

• possess methylamphetamine

• possess ecstasy

• possess cannabis

• possess 1.4 butanedoil

• deal proceeds of crime

• theft of motorcycle x 3

• commit indictable offence whilst on bail

• Handle stolen goods

• Possess prohibited weapon x 2

• Prohibited person possess imitation firearm

• Contravene conduct condition of bail

Both were remanded to appear before the Moorabbin Magistrates' Court this morning.

The charges follow the execution of two simultaneous search warrants on a residence in Ormond and a storage facility in Moorabbin, just before 9.30am.

Officers arrested the pair at the North Road, Ormond address and seized items including:

• methylamphetamine

• MDMA

• cannabis

• prescription medication

• 1,4-Butanediol

• cash

• a stolen motorcycle

Additional items were seized at the Wren Road, Moorabbin storage facility including:

• methylamphetamine

• prescription drugs

• prohibited weapons

• a handgun

• a large quantity of stolen power tools
