Two men have been charged over an isolated incident at Devonport on 14 April where another man was allegedly assaulted during a verbal confrontation between the parties.
The victim received serious, but non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.
Following an investigation into the matter, police charged a 30-year-old man and 22-year-old man - both from Devonport - with acts intended to cause GBH and aggravated robbery.
The men were detained to appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court this afternoon.
