Police charge woman after aiming laser pointer at PolAir aircraft - Kingswood

A woman has been charged after allegedly aiming a laser pointer at a PolAir aircraft in Sydney's west overnight.

Following inquiries, police arrested the woman and seized a laser pointer.

She was taken to St Marys Police Station where he was charged with prejudicing the safe operation of a Division 3 aircraft, do act to threaten safety of aircraft/persons and possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit.

The woman was refused bail to appear in Penrith Local Court today (Wednesday 16 February 2022).
