Police charge woman after Cheltemham collision

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 38-year-old woman today following a collision in Cheltenham last month.

It is alleged a blue Toyota sedan collided with a red Vespa motorcycle on Charman Road near Sydney Road about 6.50am on Wednesday 23 February.

The rider, a 38-year-old Mentone man, was taken to hospital where he sadly died the next day.

A Dandenong woman has been charged with dangerous driving causing death.

She has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 11 March.
