Cannington Detectives have charged a woman after an incident last night (22 August 2019), which resulted in a 24-year-old man being injured.
It is alleged about 9pm, a 24-year-old man attended a home located on Berwick Street, Victoria Park where he became involved in a physical altercation with a 22-year-old man from that residence.
It is further alleged during their altercation a woman became involved, and injured the 24-year-old man with a knife. All parties are known to each other.
The 24-year-old man received serious injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital where he underwent surgery.
The 19-year-old woman from Victoria Park has been charged with:
• With Intent to do Grievous Bodily Harm, Unlawfully Wounds Another.
She is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 23 August 2019.
