Police charge woman over affray at horse race meet at Clarendon

A woman has been charged following an alleged affray at a horse race meet in Sydney's west this week.

About 4.40pm on Thursday (3 November 2022), police were notified of a physical altercation involving up to 10 women at a horse race meet in Clarendon.

Officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command arrested a 53-year-old woman at the scene before she was later released, pending further inquiries.

Following extensive inquiries, police attended a home on Bourke Street, Richmond, about 6.20pm yesterday (Friday 4 November 2022).

Investigators issued a Court Attendance Notice to a 53-year-old woman for common assault and she is due to appear at Windsor Local Court on Friday 16 December 2022.
