A woman will face court charged following an investigation into alleged domestic violence offences in the state's Mid North Coast.
About 4.45pm yesterday (Thursday 2 October 2025) police were called to Pilot Beach Road, Camden Head, following reports of a domestic violence-related incident.
At the scene, police were told a 42-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman had allegedly been fighting in a vehicle parked at the reserve when the woman allegedly stabbed the man.
Police attached to Mid North Coast Police District attended a short time later; however, the woman had left the location and officers commenced inquiries to locate her.
The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for non-life-threatening injuries before being transported to hospital in a stable condition.
Following inquiries, officers located the woman a short time later at Henry Kendall Reserve, Henry Kendall Drive, where they arrested the woman.
She was taken to Port Macquarie Police Station and charged with reckless wounding and contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (Domestic).
The woman was refused bail to appear before Port Macquarie Local Court today (Friday 3 October 2025) where she was further refused bail to reappear at Local Bail Division - Court 1 on Wednesday 8 October 2025.
