Police charge woman with negligent driving after Hobart pedestrian crash

Police have charged a 25 year old Risdon Vale woman with negligent driving following an incident on Liverpool St, Hobart, where a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle on 11 June.

The pedestrian suffered significant lower leg injuries and the driver of the offending vehicle allegedly failed to stop at the scene.

Tasmania Police yesterday charged a 25-year-old Risdon Vale woman with one count of Negligent Driving. The woman was bailed to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court in September 2021. Further charges relating to this incident are expected.
