As stated by Detective Inspector Shaun Vickers, Counties Manukau CIB:
Police are responding to an unfolding serious incident in Wattle Downs this afternoon.
At about 1.45pm, emergency services responded to reports of a woman unresponsive at an address on Gambare Place.
Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
During a search of the property Police have located a man who was also pronounced deceased.
Cordons are in place at Mahia Road and schools in the immediate area were advised to lockdown.
Police advise all members of the public to avoid the area.
