Police are appealing for public assistance as part of an investigation into an incident on Sydney's rail network.
About 8.20pm on Saturday 6 December 2025, officers attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command were told a man allegedly threatened a 15-year-old boy with a weapon.
No injuries were sustained during this incident.
Police have released a description of a man they believe can assist with inquiries. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 40 and 50, with a medium build, and medium-length grey hair.
He was last seen leaving the train at Hazelbrook Railway Station, wearing a white t-shirt, beige pants, and black boots and was carrying a black backpack.
As investigations into the incidents continue, Police Transport Command North West have released CCTV images of persons who might be able to assist with inquiries.
