Police investigate after two men injured after road rage incident in Sydney's west

Police are appealing for public assistance following a road-rage incident in Sydney's west this afternoon.

Police have been told shortly before 3pm (Wednesday 3 November 2021), a grey Subaru hatchback and a white Toyota Hilux utility were travelling in slow-moving traffic south along Church Street, Meadowbank when the two vehicles came to a stop.

Two men from each vehicle then became involved in a physical altercation on the street, in which two men from the hatchback suffered lacerations.

The men retreated to their respective vehicles and drove from the scene, travelling through Homebush to Concord where the hatchback came to a stop on Shipley Avenue.

The Hilux was last seen travelling along Concord Road, Concord.

Officers attached to Burwood Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The two injured men – both aged 27 – were treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries, before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone who may have dashcam footage of the assault or who witnessed the incident to contact Burwood Police on (02) 9745 8499.
