Police investigate armed robbery at Eagleby 9 April

Police are investigating following the armed robbery of a business in Eagleby this morning, Sunday April 9.

Around 2.00am a man entered the River Hills Road business armed with a knife and made demands for money and cigarettes from the male attendant who complied and was not physically injured.

The man fled the store on foot with a sum of money and cigarettes.

Police, including the dog squad conducted extensive patrols around the area, however the man could not be located.

Investigators are appealing for public assistance to identify the man, who has a dark complexion, is approximately 170cm tall with a solid build and was wearing a blue jumper over his shoulders and black shorts. Anonymous reports can be made.
