Police investigate armed robbery at Mitchelton 4 January

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store in Mitchelton tonight.

Around 8.30pm two armed men wearing masks entered the Blackwood Street store and threatened the female attendant inside, demanding cash and tobacco.

She complied with the pair's demands and the duo fled with cash and tobacco.

The 20-year-old was uninjured.

They are believed to be travelling in a later model silver hatchback.

Anyone with vision or further information about the incident is urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
