Police investigate armed robbery at Tingalpa 5 September

Detectives investigating an armed robbery at a licensed premise in Tingalpa this morning are appealing for assistance.

Shortly before 11am, a man entered the Wynnum Road hotel before confronting an employee with a firearm and demanded cash from the till.

The female staff member complied, and the man fled on foot with a sum of money.

He is described as around 180cm in height, Caucasian, wearing a light-coloured wrap around his head and neck, light coloured jumper with three black stripes down the arms, tan coloured long pants, white shoes and wearing gloves.

No one was physically injured during the incident.
