Police investigate armed robbery at Upper Mount Gravatt 13 September

Police have arrested three males following an armed robbery in Upper Mount Gravatt overnight.

Around midnight, police will allege three males wearing balaclavas entered a sports club on Klumpp Road and Logan Road. One of the males was armed with a rifle.

They allegedly threatened a female employee and stole a large sum of cash.

They fled in a black Holden Astra, being monitored by police until the vehicle was intercepted using a tyre deflation device on Main Street at Narangba.

They abandoned the vehicle and were all arrested a short time later. They are expected to be charged later today.
