Police investigate armed robbery at Waterford

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza store at Waterford last night (Sunday, September 1).

Around 10.20pm a man has entered the Kingston Road store armed with a knife and threatened the 37-year-old male employee while making demands for money.

An undisclosed amount of money was handed over and the man fled the scene.

The offender is described as around 18 years of age, Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall and was wearing a grey hoody, glasses and spoke with an Australian accent.

No one was physically injured in the incident and investigations are ongoing.
