Police investigate Aspendale burglary

Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives have released vision and images of a man following a burglary at a home in Aspendale in February.

Enquiries have revealed a man approached the front door of the Fifth Avenue home, on Wednesday 22 February, and knocked numerous times to see if anyone was home about 10am.

When no one answered, he went to the side of the house and used a screwdriver to jemmy open a door.

The offender filled a shopping bag with watches, a laptop and a charger and left at 11.20am.

Detectives have released CCTV and images of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.

He is described as 30-40-years-old, thin build, beard and was wearing glasses, khaki- coloured hat, light grey t-shirt, dark-coloured pants and an orange backpack.
