Police investigate attempted carjacking in Narre Warren

Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an attempted carjacking in Narre Warren on 16 May.

Investigators have been told the victim, a 28-year-old Narre Warren woman, was standing next to her vehicle holding her 2-year-old child in a car park of a Webb Street train station about 12pm when she was approached by an unknown female.

The unknown male offender made demands for the victim's keys and assaulted her however the victim refused to hand them over.

The woman fled the scene on foot.

The victim and her child did not sustain injuries during the incident.

Detectives have released images of a woman they wish to speak to who they believe can assist with their enquiries.
