Police investigate Box Hill power tool burglaries

Whitehorse Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding two burglaries in Box Hill this month.

It is believed unknown offenders gained entry to a secure car park of an apartment building on Whitehorse Road about around 10.15pm on 2 August and 11pm on 5 August.

Once inside, the offenders have broken into a number of storage cages stealing a large amount of property including power tools.

Detectives are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time.

Investigators have also released CCTV stills of two men that they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
