Police investigate carjacking - Lakemba

Police are investigating a carjacking at Lakemba.

About 8.20pm yesterday (Monday 15 July 2019), a 32-year-old man was outside an address on Garrong Road, when he states he was approached by two males and threatened with a firearm.

The men demanded the keys to the man's vehicle, a 2016 model silver Toyota Camry with NSW registration EBU 47C.

The keys were handed over and one of the men left in the victim's vehicle. The other man left in a vehicle described as a red coloured Honda sedan.

The incident was later reported to officers from Campsie Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries.

The two men have been described as being Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, 22-27 years old, thin build, with short black hair and beards.

Inquiries continue.
