Police investigate Frankston robbery

Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for information following a robbery in Frankston last month.

Police have been told a 22-year-old woman was working at a supermarket in a shopping centre on Cranbourne Road, when she was approached by an unknown offender, about 8am on 30 December 2023.

The man made demands for money from the cash register before threatening to stab the store attendant.

She handed over a small quantity of cash and he fled the scene.

He was last spotted getting onto a bus on Cranbourne Road, headed towards Cranbourne.

The supermarket worker was not injured.

Investigators have released CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, mid 40's, medium build with a dark grey receding hairline.

He was last seen wearing a grey-coloured top and pants as well as a blue and white Furphy branded beanie.
