Geelong Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are hoping to identify a man following a reported incident at a Torquay beach this week, Victoria Police say.
Police have been told a 37-year-old woman was walking along Whites Beach when she was approached by a naked man sometime between 6pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday 2 October.
It is believed the man was outside an area where clothes are optional.
He spoke with a European accent and made lewd comments directed towards the woman.
Detectives are hoping to identify the man who is described as approximately 169cm tall with short dark hair and was wearing glasses.
Investigators have released images of a man that may be able to assist with their enquiries.
