Police investigate Maribyrnong affray

Police are appealing for assistance to help identify two men following an assault in Maribyrnong on 8 June.

Investigators have been told a 13-year-old boy was assaulted by a group of men at a bus stop of a Rosamond Road shopping centre about 3.30pm.

The Ascot Vale boy did not sustain any injuries as a result of the assault.

Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The first man is perceived to be African in appearance, aged in his late teens with a skinny build, and was wearing a black bandana and a black and white striped t-shirt.

The second man was also perceived to be African in appearance, aged in his late teens with a skinny build, and was wearing a white and dark blue Nike vest, grey long sleeve top, black beanie, and sunglasses.
