Police investigate sexual assault atMunno Para, South Australia

Police are investigating an incident at Munno Para this morning, where a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted.

About 7am today (Friday 11 October) a woman was walking along a path in a wetlands area near Ramsar Road, when she was hit in the head with an unknown object and sexually assaulted.

The suspect then ran away from the area, and the woman was treated for her injuries at hospital and later released.

The suspect is described as about 170cm tall, tanned complexion, medium build, and was wearing a black mask across the lower half of his face, along with a hooded jumper and dark-coloured pants.

He spoke in a foreign language and also in English, but with an accent.
