Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance to identify two men following a sexual assault in Wyndham Vale last week, Victoria Police say.
The incident happened on a walking track in the reserve near Honour Avenue on Tuesday 27 March at 1.30pm.
The victim, a 32-year-old Wyndham Vale woman, was travelling on the walking track when she was approached by two men.
One of the men attempted to sexually assault the woman but she managed to fend them off.
Both men ran off towards Ribblesdale Avenue.
Investigators have released computer generated likenesses of the two men and are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
