Police investigate South Yarra burglaries

Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for help to identify a man following two burglaries at food outlets in South Yarra.

Investigators have been told a man forced his way into two separate restaurants on Toorak Road between 2am and 2.30am on 2 February.

While inside, he stole an amount of cash and electrical items including tablets before fleeing.

Police have released images of a man who they believe can assist with their enquiries.

He is described as being aged between 30 and 40 years old with dark hair, and was wearing a black-and-grey jacket and jeans.
