Police investigate stabbing at Watergardens train station

Melton Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a teenage boy and are appealing for dashcam footage following a stabbing at Watergardens Railway Station on 8 April.

Police were called to the station on Circuit Road in Taylors Lakes following reports of up to 20 people fighting about 8.30pm.

Two males, aged 17 and 29, both sustained stab wounds.

They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 16-year-old Harkness boy was arrested at the scene and has been charged with intentionally cause serious injury, affray and attempted armed robbery.

He will appear at a children's court at a later date.

Detectives continue to investigate and are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have been driving in the area at the time of the fight.
