Police investigate suspicious caravan fire at Dunolly

Central Goldfields Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses following a suspicious caravan fire in Dunolly overnight, Victoria Police say.

The fire occurred sometime between 10pm on Tuesday 18 December and 8am the next morning.

The 1978 Millard caravan, which was parked at the rear of a home on The Broadway, was completely destroyed in the blaze.

A crime-scene guard remains at the location while a fire investigator is expected to examine the scene on Friday morning in an attempt to determine how the fire started.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious or has information about the fire to contact Crime Stoppers.
